>>I just don't think We the People should become a blood-thirsty mob that tears these men apart, let the system do that once they have had a fair trial, if that still exists. If you took the time to read what I wrote, I never said that these men should be shredded into pieces by a blood-thirsty mob. In fact, I work in the legal system and absolutely endorse our justice system that tries its best to provide legal representation to the accused, etc. That being said, my main objection was how you trivialize the deadly intent of an individual, whether it may or may not be these son & dad team, who created a REAL bomb that had the force to blow up our dedicated law enforcement officers.

>>I don't think they were trying to kill anyone Making a fake bomb first and then leaving a real bomb the second time created the exact situation they seemed to have hoped for: law enforcement letting down their guard and treating the second bomb as a fake one and detonating the bomb. I don't know what more can be seen as intent to inflict serious harm or death. i went to the memorial for cap. tennant. i knew him. when the officer picked up the casket, it was obvious that the casket was extremely light. the bomb had enough power and force to basically blow up a over 6 ft tall man. TELL ME WHAT THEY INTENDED TO DO?? >>but don't bash their names and call them 'psychotic murderers'... If proper actions were taken and the bomb not mistaken as a fake bomb, then lives might have been spared. Because these officers sincerely believed in protecting the public and kept doing their jobs, they lost their lives. Whether they made a mistake or not, it does not make a difference that these men created these dangerous explosives that could have easily killed kids who may have been playing in that area while they waited for mom to finish bank business. Before you defend them, think about that. Think about the agony Capt. Hakim's two teenage kids and Cpt. Tennant's three kids experience. Amen.
