Glad to hear you're okay, hope you are even after yesterday's storm. We've lost power and gotten it back three times and we just lost it again last night (I got home Tuesday), and I've been charging cell phones/taking showers/checking email at my aunt's.

By the way, your automatic Google Ads right now are priceless:
"Cute Naughty Monkey Shoes"
"Find Atheist Females"
"The Monkey: Looking for The Monkey? Find exactly what you want today"
"The Atheist's Riddle"

When I first saw this movie, not only did I buy the album, but I listened to it for about two days straight. Amanda Palmer's my fave.

My favorite line is definitely, "Like in chess, I can't wait to see your next move."

The ISTP is a Myers-Briggs personality code. A lot of businesses use this for team building (and NCCES students when we were exploring choosing careers)

Here's the website:

I went to the 2012 campaign website, and clicked on the "email Gov. Palin" link, and read the message that they send, which after stating why the author "strongly disagreed" with her decision to allow immigrants a path to citizenship, closed with,

"May God bless you.
An American Citizen
You betcha"

You betcha? Really?

the worst part was in order to see the message that you would send you had to click on another link, so people could have sent that letter thinking it was a petition for her to run for office. I REALLY hope this is a joke.

PS- I did a research project on psychological implications of music, and I found a peer reviewed article stating that country music caused suicide. They'll do a study on anything these days.

Thanks for posting this! In my human sexuality class we were doing a research project on studies like this and so many people found things with differing results, and some of the claims were, needless to say, ridiculous.

hilarious...I just wish it wasn't half as accurate- things are scary out there!!

I'm in TX right now (evacuated from NOLA), and you'd be surprised how many people I've met on this trip that are head-over-heels in love with her. For my people back in Fitchburg, I know at least one woman who was so offended by the choice of Palin that she officially left the Republican party. As much as I don't like these tactics, she's certainly going to influence the election much more than the average VP candidate.
