Nick, that's an interesting perspective. I'll read your link below about this and give it some consideration. I certainly would design the Pipes UI differently if it was up to me - but it wasn't. The point was, this scary looking UI doesn't have to be so scary if you know just a few buttons to push.

Good question ol' buddy. What I recommend is opening it up in a text editor and just deleting everything you don't want in there. All the items from a new tab will be grouped together and if you look closely at where one item stops and the other starts, you'll be ok.
