Did anyone unlocked through this way already?

I'm currently on 4.1, do i need to update to 4.2 to do that?

I Did exactly the way were to do... and there's no unlock.... still we're with no way out.

Attention: NOBODY will answer to you in case you have:
Firmware 05.14.02 and don't want to use ipad firmware.
Dnt waste your time with this! Instead of this, wait till someone finds out how to unlock this frmwre without using the ipad frmwre...

Just to know if i'm doing it right or no...please help:
I'm on 3GS old bootroom, with 4.1(8B117) version and 05.14.02 firmware...should i use this ipad firmware or do i have any other way? As far as i read here, i could use the latest version of the redsn0w, but it's just not working properly.
Any idea? Tks!

Ahn! Yeah, but you know, i got it at this moment these stats:
Version: 4.1 (8B117)
Carrier AT&T 8.0
Firmware: 05.14.02

and so far, the only thing that appears on tthe left top is "searching" and " No Service ".
There's another way to do this jailbroken and make, at least the AT&T sim card works???

hehe i was imaginating something like that. It's already jailbroken.
But, even using an AT&T sim card is not working... is at normal???
