The Vatican teaches that anyone performing an abortion or helping someone to have an abortion is automatically excommunicated. Why then does the Vatican Prelate Fisichella have to comment at all or interfere at all with the declaration to the media about the excommunication by the Bishop who did it? He made it public in order to let other doctors who are also doing this to know that this is what will happen to anyone who participates in the killing of the innocent unborn and that they will go straight to hell for that. Instead of applauding one of their own for doing the right thing, This vatican cardinal publicly humilitates another priest for doing what is right. No wonder there is so much confusion about Catholicism around the world. I hope that the child's mother, and that scum of a 'man' are also excommunicated and that made public also. Those children (both) should be removed from that woman. I think a lot of Bishops and Cardinals around the Pope (poor man) and in the Vatican ought to be excommunicated themselves. The whole church needs to be purified from the top!.
