As Matthewc pointed out, it really isn&#039;t that hard and if you have any kind of cooking skills you can eat really well. I just bought $14 worth of fruit &amp; veggies this morning at Rising Sun Farm &amp; Produce in Roosevelt - enough to feed a single person for more than a week. (75 cent mangos &amp; avocados, 50 cent kiwis). I can&#039;t live without coffee - make french press at home. Eat leftovers of your home-cooked gourmet dinners for lunch. People need to ask we single parents how to manage. Though I do admit we tend to get a little smug.
