Holy Mother Fucking Shit. For months, nay, Years, I've been saying to my friends whenever talk of Simon Pegg OR Jason Bateman came up, that I would love Nothing more than a film in which they Both had some face to face comedy time. Thank You Universe. Yes.

/Film : Star Wars Turns 32 Years Old

Yes, true. Some of my favourite sequels (empire, dark knight, godfather 2) force the story to go through a dark trough. Which I always dig (for some fucked up reason).

/Film : Guillermo del Toro Talks Vampire Novels, Slaughterhouse-Five, and the Future of Storytelling

Nice little piece, Devindra. Very interesting subject, and del Toro is definitely one of those voices that should be listened to carefully - he is quickly becoming a master. I wish he worked a little faster, but thats just a nitpick I have. Thank God he takes his time and chooses things carefully, because his work definitely supports my image of him. Which is positive, and glorious. You know what? I'm going to watch Pan's Labyrinth now. Awesome

/Film : Trainspotting Author Irvine Welsh to Direct The Magnificent Eleven

Awesome! Am I the only one here who is genuinely excited? Irvine Welsh is pretty awesome, and films about football are always welcome here (in my head). Also, I LOVE the western-gang-style type of flavour he will be using for this. Sounds like a Tarantino movie or something, if he was a football fan...

I cant wait. Unfortunately I've spoiled it all for myself and read the script already. Twice. Man I'm a fool. Anyway, its going to be Great. I also really liked having Roth in the darkness, when he's introduced. Very cool. Pitt seems a little...not all there, or something - but I have full confidence, and once I sit down in the theatre, I will buy into it fully. I think. CANT WAIT.

/Film : This Week in DVD: Valkyrie, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, My Bloody Valentine 3D, True Blood, and More

Adam - I am German. When I heard about Tom Cruise playing Stauffenberg in Valkyrie, I was a little deterred. And weirded out. That being said, after listening to Christopher McQuarrie's episode of the Creative Screenwriting episode, in which he details the long process of getting this movie rolling, I was curious enough to go see it. That being said, it is a very entertaining thriller, which undoubtedly comes from Singer's direction. However, there are also some good performances in this, even Tom Cruise is alright. Hitler is pretty cool in this. I mean, the actor who plays him, is good. Anyway, my main point is, even though you know the ending, it is still a pretty easy watch, and maybe more engaging than you think. At least I hope so. Ok, this comment is WAY too long. Hope it helped a little

I've been waiting for this one, for quite a while now. I can not wait. I actually just recently met a family friend who worked on this film, digitally removing thumbs and other limbs, etc. Pretty cool. Anyway, don't mean to sound like an ass. Main point: this is good news, and I can't wait.
