Ummm...any of these same people ever read the newspapers or watch the news? Attempted kidnapping of a runner...too many hit and runs of cyclists to count....and so on and so on. For someone who wants to workout before work, running on the streets in the dark is not a safe option. Gyms provide a safe place for folks to get their exercise. And heck, shouldn't we be commended for actually trying keeping fit, unlike the millions of Americans who are not and are creating a burden on our health care system?
