Seriously, knowing your child has a life threatening allergy such as nuts, living in a wooded area where squirrels and other wildlife depend on nuts and berries, etc. for their existence, one would think that a parent would be more keen and "sensitive" to their surroundings when choosing where to live. Perhaps this Spokane Mom should consider a less wooded area, maybe an apartment high rise or Arizona let's say. I have a cousin who is allergic to grasses. Does she live in a grassy area, no, she lives in Arizona. If my child had such allergies, I wouldn't jeprodize his health and live near trees and woods.....

After reading this story, I now understand why homeland security does not respond to my requests to investigate known illegals in my workplace (in excess of 40) telling me they are busy, when really because I live in WA, it means they are "sensitive" to the illegals and their "civil rights" . Or when I recently attempted to alert homeland security of a known "coyote" operation bringing illegals up from Mexico straight up I-5 through California, Oregon and Washington and having known detailed information about time and drop off location, that no one from homeland security showed up. How many of you have checked your social security number on the Washington Employment website and see how many of you have worked in Yakima county for an apple orchard. I saw my social security number listed 8 (EIGHT) different places that I've never even been to, let alone worked! Is Seattle's "sensitivity" to the issues of illegal immigration because the council itself hosts illegal immigrants at its table? Decisions like this just give me another reason to move from WA.
