Dear One_World: Men touch women as an expression of control and dominance. It is taboo for a woman to touch a man in this way. There is no way that what an aged, powerful male does in the workplace to a female is "comfort". It has nothing to do with the health of our society; just the opposite.

So this is why powerful groups want to outlaw taking of video on farms. Even more groups want to stop any regulation of business at all. Follow the money.

Either the reporter messed this up or there is more to it. I can't believe that siblings that were together into adulthood can sit down and not recognize each other, even if BOTH had new identities. Maybe they were from one HUGE family and many years apart in age, but I still remember the exact appearance of distant relatives that have been dead since the 1960's. This may have been embellished somewhere because it doesn't make sense.

I wish we could drop the word "accident". It is misused, and implies that nobody had any control over what happened. Clearly, there was excessive speed involved, and loss of control. That means it is not an accident but a case of negligence. Too bad speeding is so much fun and 'tough'.

The only way McKenna can fix this is by hiring a staff full of Asians and the elderly. Should I hold my breath?

Good for him, what an unusual exception he was. My Swiss-German Texan ancestors spoke SG around the home for 2 generations, until the 1950's. The first half of the 20th century will be the last era when white Americans bother to learn a second language. If we taught second languages to non-immigrants in preschool and elementary, we would be far less of an embarrassment on the global stage. It's hard to find an international business person who does not speak 3-4 languages fluently.

Which religion is influential in this subculture? Does that religion teach that animals are as sacred as humans?
