If there is a march in September, I am there!!!
i attended the tea party in nashville tn. yesterday. I would say there was at least 1000 people there. We had no problems, I am glad to say. As we were leaving however, two middle aged black women were walking down the street beside my 12 year old daughter and myself. They started making comments about my daughter should be in school and not at a protest. I tried to explain that my daughter was in all advanced classes and a straight A student, but they did not want to hear.I finally figured out what they were so mad about. they were mad because, it was a conservative protest. It is just another example of the double standards of the left. It is quite ok for the left to protest, but God forget the right organize. I pretty much had this confirmed when a saw the female cnn "reporter" "interviewing" the father with his baby on the news last night. My friends, i think we have them scared.
Funny, I have seen a lot of Black men prosper in this country. The problem is that when they stand up and start pointing out the problems with their own communities, the are labeled as an uncle tom by men like Sharpton or Jessie Jackson. Bill Cosby would be a great example. when will you figure it out, racism is a trick of the government to keep the masses separated and at each others throats. we are all Americans, regardless of race or color. stand up against the government and stop fighting each other. the rising tied will lift us all.
I already threw out my political party. I am neither a republican nor a democrat. There are good and bad in both parties. the problem is when they start moving toward one extreme or the other. George Washington warned against parties over 200 years ago. If everyone was to just shut their wallets and say no to the parties, they may start getting the idea. just say no to political parties, tell them you are an American.
I am sorry, but I will never willingly move in the direction that your president is trying to take the country. When i was in the service back in the 80's, I had the opportunity to travel to both Romania and Yugoslavia. I saw how well the people of those two countries lives under socialism. Trust me, we have a much higher standard of living here, both then and now. take your political blinders off, Oboma is trying to ruin the free market and capitalism in this country.
At last count 20 states had already or were in the process of passing 10th amendment resolutions which were to be sent to the congress and the president. Unfortunately I don't know what good it will do. Nobody ever took the south seriously until Fort Sumter.
But what do you do when the orders you are given are unconstitutional? Sometimes you have to think for yourself. I know marines are taught to follow orders, but come on. I served also, but my allegiance is to God and country first. Men, regardless of what office they hold are falable.
Well I have heard that with cap and trade we can all expect our electric bills to increase between 1500 to1800 dollars a year. just another one of those hidden taxes that Obama promised he would not raise on those making under 250,000 dollars.
I too am a Veteran and was taught to see socialism and communism as the enemy. I also took an oath numerous times to defend the country and the Constitution against enemies foreign and domestic. I am now afraid to say that i am starting to view a lot of those in Washington as domestic enemies of the state.
