The news this morning is that the coroner (sp?) ruled that Kevin died of cardiomyopathy (sp?). I understand that to be an enlarged heart that doesn't pump properly. I'm wondering if Kevin hadn't been to see a doctor over the course of the past year...or more? Wouldn't an enlarged heart be a relatively easy diagnosis for any pracitioner in the modern world? I'm wondering if his way too early and untimely death was also unnecessary? That, for me, adds another level of sadness to our individual and collective grief. If he had been under a doctor's care, he might have been able to do a number of things to help his heart---maybe not a cure (I dont know) but enough to add years to his life.
