OK, so what's so radical about him then??? He's fighting the terrorists harder than Bush EVER did. He's kept many of the Bush policies in place. He would NEVER continue reading My Pet Goat if we were under attack. Please tell me what is so radical about President Barack Obama. I think I know...and I don't think it has anything to do with policies.

All I'm saying is, he just doesn't seem radical to me or to many of my peers. I am a professional, working with other professionals living our typical lives with families/kids etc and most of the people in my life do not see this as a radical presidency. We all realize times are tough, but A) I don't blame Obama for that and B) I don't think his means to escape this depression are radical. Agreeing with the President is bad for ratings.

Think for themselves? Obama's rating was sky high when he took office...then Fox, Rush, Beck and Hannity decided they get better ratings if they give Americans a reason to be angry. They don't want this health care plan because they've been lied to by republicans. Foxnews' ratings are so high and all these people hear is BS about how bad this plan is. The republicans have not offered solutions. Tey know that if Obama can't pass reform, he's done and that's all they care about. That and winning in their own district. They need to start caring about America. Not their political careers!

If this plan was made by a republican, republicans would vote for it and that's what bothers him. I'm sorry but after listening to both sides, Obama's the only one who sounds truly genuine about this whole thing. Something needs to get done and all he's hearing is start over??? If he starts over, he's just going to put the same ideas back in to the new policy. Starting over is a waste of time. Americans want health care reform. Republicans need to deliver.

What? It's like I can't win with you. You don't even want to TRY to find common ground here. They are free to do what they want. I am free to judge and frown upon their actions. I will however, NEVER agree with anyone who thinks more guns are the way to peace. I live in NYC. (knock on wood) I have never had a problem. I find the city very, very safe. Statistics back up my point. There was a shooting in Times Square the other day though. Apparently some guy had his hands on a MAC-10 and shot at cops. How is a MAC-10 a legal gun???

Interesting? Sure. But I would say the same thing about religious values. These are books written thousands of years ago. Basic commandments never grow old but many pages of these books are outdated. Also, is there peace in the world now? How are most wars caused? RELIGION. The constitution allows for the right to bear arms...when it was written in the 1790s. I don't see a reason to have a gun if you live in a city in 2009.
