RTE Ten : Dublin banks a new Cultural and Heritage Centre - RTÉ Ten

That sort of crap shouldn't be his concern. The local authority is responsible. As minister his principle responsibility is national issues. We don't elect these people to fix potholes

http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/ : Northern Ireland\'s average pay packet is £8,000 lighter than one earned in the Republic - Bel

I think it is well known that income levels in the south vastly exceed those north of the border. Even with the depressed figures in unemployment in the south, the prognosis for the southern economy is very positive when compared to a northern economy that is stagnant. Personally I think by the end of the decade the gulf between the two economies will have opened again. I hope however co-operation economically can be increased significantly so that everyone on the island can have an adequate income relative to their cost of living and that the whole island has prosperity. It will take another generation to remove the border that holds this island back.

Don't be such an antagonist. British troops committed murder that day, they weren't defending themselves but were gunning down unarmed kids. These are the facts that even the British government belatedly acknowledged.

It's the description of the state. Yes partition has led to a few anomalys, Northern Ireland when in fact the most northerly part of Ireland is not in Northern Ireland. A state named Ireland that doesn't exercise power over all of Ireland. Referring to Northern Ireland as Ulster when a third of the province is not in Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland is British when in fact it's not part of Britain. Your confused I think we re all a bit confused. I think we should all relax a bit and maybe just laugh about it.

Well done Rob, much deserved for such a dedicated athlete. As for RTE why should we have to support such an amateur organisation. Pat Kenny leaves after he could no longer bleed them dry, they replace him with Sean O Rourke, such an ultra conservative organisation. Tubridy is so average and yet he is regarded as the golden boy.I can't understand it.Ditch the Late Late it's had it. If I could unsubscribe I would in a heartbeat, sure they don't have any live tv in the morning and its just repeat after repeat even at prime time slots. How many times have they run Reeling in the Years, The Restaurant, Raw, Room for Improvement over and over. Useless.

Trust me millions aren't watching this nonsense. To think that people outside of Northern Ireland have the remotest interest in this is naive. Kelly comes out of it a bit of an idiot. To stand in front of the vehicle was stupid, having said that it shows how abnormal policing in Northern Ireland is when no officer had the courtesy to roll than the window and tell him that they could not engage in a discussion with him over the issue.

We can all be guilty of quoting statistics to suit our arguments. Many statistics can be challenged. www.irisheconomy.ie/.../misrepresenting-at-risk-o... Your arguments are based on a wish and expectation that the Irish economy will not recover and in fact will deteriorate in the future with a possible break up of the euro. Most analysts no longer expect this to happen although there remains work to be done to secure the currency's future.Ireland is least likely to have to leave the euro of the the bail out countries and in fact has returned to the bond markets already this year. No doubt I m guessing you weren't in favour of Irish unity when the Irish economy was thriving and the debt levels of the state was among the lowest in Europe so I don't expect you to change your mind should the fortunes of the Irish economy improve greatly. Of course in the meantime you must take great comfort from the Irish states current woes even if there is still greater prosperity south of the border even today. Just admit that you support the union because you re proud to be British and not on some economic argument that is open to scrutiny.

Pairc Ui Chaoimh is also at planning stage for major redevelopment.Ravenhill is currently being being redeveloped. That leaves just 2 more stadiums to be developed in ten years Pearse and another. We can host this tournament on our own no problem, would be great for all of Ireland.
