And I don't see Iraq and Afghanistan lasting long without the US Military protecting those rulers. The difference is the tyrants like Mubarak can be bribed and will work with us while they're killing their own people, the fanatics can't. I wonder why they can't sustain a democracy? I blame all that oil wealth. In an unstable country all that wealth is just too tempting to tyrants.
