Dear Parents.
I am a student and attend Hillcrest high school and I'm worried about many things concerning tomorrow morning. A) It is dangerous for students to walk to and from school; several kids have gotten hit already this year, one of whom was my friend Kimberly Armstrong. B) There are students that live quite a ways away that have to deal with the ice and snow that live outside the city where the roads are usually plowed last. C) Student drivers new to driving are especially at risk of having weather related accidents. I wish those in charge would make the decision sooner rather than later so students as well as parents have time to prepare to make the trek to school or not.
