I not only attended our local tea party, but arranged for others to attend also. This 2nd American Revolution should never result in bloodshed. It will be our steadfast, steady unrelenting beat of our drum that will let our voices be heard. We have power at the voter's booth thanks to the founding father's and those brave American Revolution soldiers that fought so that we might do so. The founding fathers also as a result of the bloodshed created a powerful document, the Constitution that hopefully would in the future prevent such bloodshed, thus freedom of speech and the right to assemble. It has been further generations of brave men and women who have continued to sacrifice and defend that document and has allowed us to keep our freedoms. Nov 2, 2010 is where my strength, anger, "bullets" will be fired. I have already notified my representatives that they will be fired by me. In the meantime I am for the first time LOUDLY letting my voice be heard. I will be attending any and all further local protests, I will be watching politicians at the local and federal level...watching their voting records....staying abreast of the issues before them and letting them know how they should vote....etc. I will be organizing the bus to Washington DC with a patriotic group of Amercians, whenever that date gets set. So in the end NancyNurse I think we agree....as I too am loudly shaking my rattles....All I was saying in my last post that we have to be extremely careful to never let our gatherings turn violent....we will then be labeled anarchists and we will discredit ourselves. Yes, I have read all of the books you mentioned. You are right....but the one thing is I am a gentle person, but don't push me over the edge, I will fight back. But you were wrong if you think I am passive.....NEVER in my lifetime have I ever been so ticked off that it has pushed me to be politically active....NEVER......until now.
