Need Expert Advice!!!
I have jailbroken my iPhone 4 with redsn0w using the NO_BB*.IPSW
WiFI/Bluetooth is working good Except for the (No Service) the sim isn't working.

I'm on 5.0.1 BB 01.59.00.
Although on the redsn0w, I did not check the Deactivate checker.
Help Please!

Just a quick ques!
with iPhone 4 ver 4.3.3
I made the custom IPSW i.e. NO_BB.ipsw made with redsn0w for iOS 5.0.1
Problem, when restoring the file from iTunes, after few minuets it give an error 1601 or 1602, over and over :(
Tried iReb, no luck.
Please help.
Someone told me on this blog to uncheck the "Set Host to Cydia" in advance tab in TinyUmbrella would this help.

Rename the *.zip to *.ipsw :)

Or write *.zip in the dialog box of redsn0w and click on the file which was downloaded :)

Try using redsn0w at
https://sites.google.com/a/iphone-dev.com/files/h...

and upgarde it to iOS 5.0.1

I downloaded the new iOS 5.0.1 from theiphonewiki.com as a zip file, and extracted it to a folder.
Problem is I ran redsn0w and used the Custom IPSW option.
It asked for IPSW, which I could not find in the extracted iOS 5.0.1
Please Help!

Hi iPhone Lovers,
I have a iPhone 4 Version 4.3.3 (8J2) baseband version 01.59.00
I have installed redsnow 0.9.10b5, if I upgrade to 5.0.1 using the custom IPSW, will my sim work?
Also is there anything I should do before upgrading the IPSW?
