King County Metro route 346 already provides the service an overpass crossing I-5 would provide. It provides all day service to and from the Northgate Transit Center to North Seattle Community College. If one was already planning on taking light rail/bus at the transit center with their ORCA card or with the current paper transfers, it would not cost anything additional to transfer to Link or another bus.

The government should stop taxing interest bearing accounts (they weren't always taxed in the past) to assist savers. It would encourage people to save (something the country as a whole needs to relearn) and stops kicking savers while they are down.

I remember growing up watching Harry forecasting the weather and rated the upcoming days with a graphic display of Stars (from 1-5). You were a 5 star weatherman. R.I.P. Harry.

Geico, Progressive, & Esurance (just to name a few) will let you add/drop vehicles, change coverages, and more on the fly (online or over the phone) and more than 4 times a year. I do it all the time. In fact you do not need part time if you can just drop the vehicle when not in use and add it when you want to take it for a weekend spin or just for a day.

I do not have valuable cars and own them outright, so I only carry liability on them. If you have a more valuable vehicle or are making payments on them. You should always carry (if not mandatory) comprehensive for the Theft/Fire/Etc coverage so you do not get in a situation where the vehicle gets damaged while sitting.

It definitely is a way to save mega money, but as the article says, do NOT forget to change the terms before you decide to drive the dormant vehicle.

Another way to save money with auto insurance is to check rates with other companies every year or two. I just switched from what I thought was a great rate to an even cheaper rate.
