I can't agree with you more! That is also the only worry that I have left regarding Twilicorn. I know there is no solid evidence proving that all Alicorns are immortal or will gain immortality for being transformed into one, but Celestia and Luna are thousands of years old, and we don't really have an explanation of why this is, outside of them being Alicorns. It's like the writer potentially open up for a seriously saddening arc of Twilight might eventually outlived all her friends and loved ones and it just sort of leaves a depressing taste in my mouth.

There are some really good fan arts out there that depict the consequence of immortality of Twilicorn and some of them even made me burst into tears while watching. I bet you still remember the famous "Eternity's End"....I even opened up a thread on MLP forum to discuss my concern about the immortality issue: http://mlpforums.com/topic/54043-am-i-the-only-on...
