How late are the conference organizers hoping/planning for the Friday sessions to run until? I'm mulling over whether to stay over until Saturday morning, or leave Friday night or afternoon.

Thanks, Jake. The registration ID's are 31140 and 31145, in the registration emails.

Eh...well...things worked a little too good. Looks like I was registered, and presumably my credit card was charged, twice. Who can I contact to gracefully unwind one of the registrations?

Actually, cc worked fine for me! Amex must have goosed my account! I got the email confirmation page and everything. Now on to the hotel registration....

Update: Amex called me, and said they had returned a status code meaning "eh, call us to chat first." So it looks like the root case is Amex getting nervous about the charge (don't know why!), and returning a status code that caused the somewhat inelegant error message. :-)

Sorry for the hassle. I'm going to try again now.

[This is John DeRosa, logged in on his IntenseDebate account now...So many accounts to keep track of!]

I just got a call from your registration service - very helpful, she's working on this now and will call when she has it resolved.

I'm a Plone advocate, and yet I find your list to not be very compelling. The challenge is that many other CMS' (I still don't know the plural of "CMS"...) could make the same claims.

Stable future, avoid vendor lock-in, easy to use? I bet a Drupal developer would make that claim for Drupal. Solid documentation? (Eh, I wouldn't claim documentation to be one of Plone's strong points, BTW...) Every technology out there says the same thing. (Do you know of a technology evangelist who says, "Our documentation sucks and we're proud of it? :0) ) Etc.

This is a hard problem: How do we sell Plone/Zope? What claims are there that are True AND significantly different from the other cazillion CMS' that they would merit attention and stand head and shoulders above them?

Oh, you're right. I was wrong.

It's not true that everyone drives unsafely while using the phone. Just, 99.999% of the people. Happy?
