What's your excuse for the attacks by the self-proclaimed most moral army on the planet on Orthodox Christian clergy attempting to celebrate the Easter holy days in Jerusalem last week? The Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem released a statement condemning the attacks, signed by the 13 heads of Christian churches in Jerusalem. "I guess it depends on when you visit a city." Did you even read my post? Did you read the Latin Patriarch's statement? The people attacked weren't visitors, they were clergy who live in Jerusalem. And as for the "when" part of your statement, I guess if you don't want to be attacked and beaten by Israeli security personnel, don't attempt to visit the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem during Easter. You might want to warn your Boulder Christian friends.

They are not loaded questions, they're very simple questions. Killing civilians is wrong. Stealing property is wrong. The tact you have taken makes it obvious that you have no problem when Israel kills civilians, burns Palestinian olive groves, throws Palestinian families on the street, etc. You don't seem to grasp the very simple underlying principles of the United States: all people are created equal. One group of people do not have the right to dispossess another group. It makes me wonder if you're even an American.

You pointed out that Hamas is a terrorist organization, and complained that "The people of Nablus elected a Hamas city council." I assumed you were a reasonable person. You took issue with one group of people (the people of Nablus) electing terrorists. A reasonable person would take issue with any group of people electing terrorists, or war criminals, or ethnic cleansers, to their government. The Israelis have elected two terrorists and a war criminal as prime minister. So I wondered whether you as a reasonable person also took issue with that. Now you claim that I did not ask a question, when IN FACT, I asked questions in both of my responses to you. In my first response I asked the question: "do you, as an American, have a problem with the fact that all of the violence committed against Palestinian civilians is done with the full support of the US government and our elected representatives?" In my second response to you, I asked the simple question "Do you, or do you not, unequivocally condemn terrorism in all of it's forms?" These are simple questions, they deserve simple answers. You have also accused me of supporting terrorism, which I do not. Supporting terrorism is a serious crime in the US. So don't toss that accusation around unless you really believe it. And if you do really believe it, I pointed out a simple action you should take.

I strictly believe in the principles upon which our country was created: All people are created equal, and that life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are among their inalienable rights. I firmly believe it is wrong to take someone's property because they are of the wrong faith or ethnic background. It's wrong to take because they are Jewish. It's wrong to take because they are not Jewish. You and I have been on this forum for a long time, and if you've been paying attention, then the principles I hold dear will have been obvious to you.

It's not a loaded question. It's a very straightforward question: Do you, or do you not, unequivocally condemn terrorism in all of it's forms? Your answer will illuminate for everyone here what principles you hold dear. Equivocation will also illuminate. I challenge you right now, yesiyam, to point out anytime in my postings over the years when I have supported terrorism. I have not. So when you accuse me of being pro-terrorist, you're just making things up. If you actually believe I'm pro-terrorist, then stop accusing me in this forum, pick up the phone, and call the Denver office of the FBI, and let them know what you think. They're very busy, but I'm sure they'd appreciate a hot tip from you. Time to put up or shut up.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt, I assume that you unequivocally condemn terrorism in all of its forms. Irgun forces, under the leadership of Menachem Begin, participated in the Deir Yassin Massacre. Under the leadership of Yitzhak Shamir, the Stern Gang assassinated UN negotiator Count Folk Bernadotte during a truce period. Israeli forces under the direct command of Ariel Sharon committed the Qibya Massacre, killing over 69 civilians, including children. Israelis elected these two terrorists and war criminal as Prime Minister. In addition, prime minister Yitzhak Rabin admitted in his memoirs that he expelled the inhabitants of Ramle and Lydda under orders. So you can add an ethnic cleanser to the mix. So you either have a double standard of what you find deplorable, or do you admit that Israel is as bad as the Palestinians. And do you, as an American, have a problem with the fact that all of the violence committed against Palestinian civilians is done with the full support of the US government and our elected representatives?
