Don't get too excited. Chavez is faking it! He doesn't have cancer, and he never had cancer. Someone close to me is going through chemo now, and she lost 30 lbs in the past couple of months without even trying. Yet, every time we see a new picture of this guy, he's fatter than he was in the last one. He's doing it for sympathy votes. He came out with his "cancer" right after his party lost their majority, and now the revelation of this latest "surgery" just in time for his re-election.

I hate to break this to you all, but Hugo probably isn't going to croak any time soon. He doesn't have cancer. He never had cancer. He faked it in order to shore up his sagging popularity at home. While he was at it, he also used the opportunity to claim that Cuba's healthcare system is the best in the world because they amazingly "cured" his disese, and (with help from a couple of his buddies) started a conspiracy theory that the CIA was somehow infecting leftist South American leaders with cancer. What a piece of work Hugo is. And by "work" I mean S#}+!
