We have a matched male/female pair which we bred a couple years ago and then gave away the puppies to people who were grateful not to have to pay the outrageous fees charged by the Humane Society. We then had the male neutered and we have regretted it. He has gained a lot of weight and his personality changed. Thankfully we did not subject our female to this.
