Breaking the rules like this has got to be the stupidest idea ever devised. If Romney DOES get the nomination, do you REALLY suppose Obama won't be airing these clips in every political commercial to discredit Romney? Do you really thing every single rules violation won't be dragged up and used to utterly crush any shred of credibility Romney might be able to project? And this in the middle of the Euro collapse that'll be going on around election time? We've followed the rules, and we've followed our leader. His face may be scarred but you will never find a mark on his back. I'm at a loss to see how anyone could admit support for such a dishonorable person as Romney.

Chairman Reince Priebus violated RNC Rule 11 when he declared Romney the "presumptive nominee" and shattered it entirely when he said, "It's beyond an endorsement. It is a complete merger wherein the RNC is putting all of its resources and energy behind Mitt Romney to be the next president of the United States." If the RNC does not abide by ITS OWN RULES regarding nominee selection, in what way is this election not a complete farce? We've all seen the anti-Paul bias first hand, but now to disobey their own rules? By the CHAIRMAN? If Paul "has no chance", what do they fear? If Romney IS "presumptive" why hasn't HE spoken up about this disgraceful breach of rules, which at best will hand him a nomination that is completely dishonest and subject him to ridicule by the Democrats? Ron Paul's run has done a great thing - it has highlighted how the voting process has been derailed by allowing primary voting to be held 'behind closed doors'. If the Party picks the candidate, in what way are you actually 'voting' for anyone? Party insiders 'count' the votes. It doesn't matter WHO you vote for - they're going to pick who THEY want to run. When the real election comes along, the two 'candidates' which each 'Party' has selected are just that - what the PARTY selected, not who YOU selected. If you're a Paul voter, RECORD YOUR VOTE. Black people tend to be poor. Poor people have public defenders. Public defenders like to settle cases with plea agreements. Police can 'solve' a crime by simply charging someone poor with it, and waiting for them to accept a plea agreement. Prosecutors do it all the time. The point is not that justice was done, but that justice was SEEN to have been done.

Why is it that EVERYONE can see the threat from Iran, a country which MIGHT get nuclear weapons in the next 10 years but would have to deliver their ONLY warhead using a steam powered wooden rocket? Even if they were to do so successfully, a first generation warhead could kill maybe 50,000 people, whereupon the entire surface of Iran would be converted to craters and molten slag. Why is it those same people CANNOT see the national security implications of a 16 trillion dollar debt and 100 trillion in unfunded liabilities? There are at least three countries now that could, if they desired sell off enough T-Bills, Mortgage backed securities and other cash equivalents to cause a crash in the dollar – thereby effectively cutting off imports like oil and gas, without which our transportation infrastructure will crash. Did you know supermarkets only keep about 3 days worth of food on hand? Imagine there’s no diesel available and all the trucks are idled for a few weeks. Can you spell national emergency and martial law? Did you know the loss of manufacturing in the US has left us dependent upon foreign powers for vital raw and finished materials? It takes YEARS to open a mine or a factory due to federal regulations. You need to vote for Ron Paul, but if you can’t do that then for heaven’s sake store a couple of months of dry food. Vote Vertebrate – Ron Paul is the only choice consistent with the principles of self preservation. Think of your family.

What kills me is no major news organization can refrain from calling Paul 'isolationist' while maintaining a blissful ignorance to the national security implications of a 16 trillion dollar debt and the absence of key sectors of manufacturing. What happens when China dumps a trillion dollars worth of T-Bills on the market at once? Economic collapse. What happens if a solar flare or EMP goes off in the heartland and all our transformers are burnt out and irreplaceable? Get ready for the collapse of society - and that's just two small things off the top of my head. All the money we spend on 'terrorism' and you're FAR more likely to die of diarrhea. Where's the War on Diarrhea? And anyway, Paul is apparently the only one of our politician who remembers what it MEANS to be an American. Patriot Act? NDAA? Since when are we such craven sniveling cowards we'll trade our freedom to save ourselves from something vanishingly improbable compared to death by... diarrhea?

Oh, my goodness they SHOULD be worried. I have a made a promise (and so have a lot of my friends) that if Dr. Paul is not nominated, NO REPUBLICAN WILL RECEIVE MY VOTE. And that's speaking as a Republican of 30 years. I've even set up a website http://RonPaulPromise.com where you can pledge to Dr. Paul as well. I'm not going to let the only candidate I've seen in the past 30 years that isn't the lesser of two evils slip by! My vote might well be the one that elects my senators, congressmen, state senators, councilmen, governors, judges, etc. but I'm willing to pass it up if Ron Paul isn't on the ticket. Piffle. Dead is dead. Are people saved from murders somehow more alive than people who die in accidents? Anyway, that doesn't begin to address the real point - which is that terrorism does NOT justify spending trillions of dollars to defend against. The fact of the matter is you can't defend against it at all. This very moment, someone can walk into your house and kill everyone in there - there is nothing the government at any level can do to prevent it. Will you spend the rest of your life cowering in the basement, or will you go out into the world and live life unafraid? Even if you let your house be repossessed, lived off food stamps and spent every penny on defense, you STILL would be at exactly the same risk because it's not war and therefore they have no way of knowing who will strike, when or where.

We don't. With the trillions we save on defense, we can simply BUY as much oil as we need. People sell things to the people that pay the most for them. With 10% of what we spend on militarism, we could outbid our competitors on spot oil.
