Or when, after saying that he would close Guantanamo immediately, it's still open 2+ years later. That was the one that did it for me. The man is a Constitutional scholar for chrissakes, how he sleeps at night with that one is beyond me. I just can't be bothered to care anymore.

I've heard about this happening with other cats. Of course, the rule of thumb with any of the feline creatures is that you have to change their environment slowly. So we swapped the "World's Best" in slowly over the course of a couple weeks. That way it was never separated from dirty litter.

Neither of our cats has the toxo either, but I can see the concern.

If you have cats, you know what the post-poop crazy-time is like, imagine that turned up by 10. Anyway, yes, "World's Best Cat Litter", it's pretty amazing. Make sure, even if you only have one kitty, to get the multi-cat formula (black and red bag), I find the single cat litter just isn't as effective.

Might I recommend "World's Best Cat Litter"? It's the only clumping, flushable litter I've found. It's made out of corn byproduct, which means it smells kind of foody, which is offputting at first, but you grow used to it. It's better than that "garden fresh scented" litter, which ends up just smelling like perfume *and* shit.

In any event clumping and flushable means we can keep the box right next to the toilet, which seems appropriate, and makes scooping frequently really, really easy.

Of course, now my cats are spoiled little prima donnas about the box. If it's not spotless, there's a complete household fracas of running around, yowling, puffy tails, endless digging in the box, until someone comes and removes the offending turd.
