With all the talk of bailout money, I couldn't help but notice the math. 700 billion here, however many millions there. There are only a little over 300 million people in the whole country. If you distribute that money to everyone,we would all be millionaires! And I agree with the lady who wrote that food, shelter, and energy should be free for all. Some may call it socialism, but I call it Compassion. People should not have to stress their whole lives for the necessities since we are learning that the money and technology has been there all along. I guess everyone forgot they figured out how to clone sheep. Just the distribution of weath would not be enough, the entire system needs rewiring. Companies would have to change the products they make. An example being, car companies would be required to formulate vehicles powered by renewable energy such as water, solar, or wind. Then people would buy those vehicles. We have been in a stalemate with evolution for far too long. As the government, you can classify such things as mandatory. I'm ready for some ideals to be tried. It can be done.
