I have quite a few circles, but only for my own use. I share everything except personal things publicly. Especially in the case of atheism, the people who need to hear it aren't atheist themselves - we know what's up. It's those who still cling to the bronze-age fairy tales who need to hear about atheism and our reasons for being what we are. I as a person runs my G+ profile, not a part of me which does comics, music, science or atheism. You either get the whole lot or nothing at all!

Ashley here. Google's OpenID URL isn't specific to every user, so it might be confusing IntenseDebate. Goes like this: https://www.google.com/accounts/o8/id ( I think facebook has openID too, but don't have a clue what their URL is. ) Anyway, I signed up to IntenseDebate using another OpenID, from http://chi.mp/ ( http://ashleywilson.mp/ is mine.) So, that works. I don't expect Disqus & IntenseDebate to integrate their systems, but its better to have my comments saved somewhere than not at all. (Well, to be honest I don't think that's necessary either. meh.)
