The election was not as bad. Dems lost the house but they kept the Senate. Far better than '94. You no longer have Pelosi to kick around anymore. I would love to see if the new congress forgoes earmarks since they are so much against government spending. And How about getting rid of social security and medicare? Since they make up 40% of the Federal budget? You cannot reduce the size of government without touching these two. It should be interesting in the coming days I cannot wait to compare the polls of the President to that of the Republican house
