After installing SBSettings, every app now runs at a 1/4 of the normal screen size. Be warned *EDIT* No way to uninstall through Cydia as most of the screen doesn't respond to touch. Think a restore may be the only solution. Bugger

You can't downgrade your baseband. You can however downgrade your firmware if you backup up your files through Cydia. Instructions here --> saurik [DOT] com/id/12

Downgraded sucessfully. But is it safe to restore from a 3.1 backup? Or should I set up as a new phone? I don't want to loose all my contacts etc.

The baseband has nothing to do with jailbreaking if you aren't interested in unlocking. If i downgrade to 3.0.1 redsn0w will work fine. Baseband is irrelevent

Sooooooo...... is my 3gs 3.1 un-jailbreakable at the moment? I'm not fussed about an unlock now or in the future. Thought i was on 3.0.1 so tried redsn0w but cydia wasn't installed. Do I need to downgrade? :(
