1.) Why is it called cash for clunkers? 2.) Do you get cash when you turn one in to spend as you wish, or do you get credit toward a new vehical you can't afford? 3.) Isn't this like the housing problem? 4.) Will we start seeing lots of people defaulting on car loans that they couldn't afford in the first place?

I really wish this vent page would post by time and date and not replies to one post. More of a chatroll thing so you could go back to the archives from when you last posted. I posted something 3 mins ago and I have to go back 5 pages to find it. I woulld like to see current statements at the top not ones from 1 - 2 days ago. It looks like this vent forum is trying to discourage me from bothing to post. Just an observation. I tried the last activity mode and it is worthless. Todays top posted? 1 day ago, not 3 mins ago. This problem will only stop people from bothering to post. Is that your objective. One more try after this and I quit.

The media and schools are the biggest problem. We need teachers who will teach without putting their political views into the classroom. They need to give both sides of a lesson. The media needs to tell the news not make it or protect people of their own political leanings. Example how many parties has Obama had since he has been in office? around 25. If that was Bush during an economic recession the media would be all over it. Another example. Tea parties all over the place what is the media reporting, not the tea parties but one anti war protest.

Here's what one person can do. I posted two videos on this vent, one forum and emailed them to my address list asking them to email it on. The We The People Stimulus Package had 4,211 views at that point. I went back and checked 12 hours later, it had 60,512 views, 12 hours after that it had 91,251 views. I checked it again 1 hour later it had 103,189 views. 12 hours later it had 187,363 views. within 2 days it had 227,393 views. Now just starting it's forth day it has 428,738 views. That's what one person can do. Feel empowered people, with the internet you are. When Glenn mentioned them Friday the leaps in views was 200,000.
