Give Me Back My Five Bucks : Book Review & Giveaway: Free at 45 by Tim Stobbs

Retiring early sounds interesting. . . But I don't know if I'd be able to be retired long term. I think I could do it if I spent time volunteering or contributing some other way to society.

Fabulously Broke in the City : How to combat frugal/debt fatigue

This is a great suggestion! Just this year, I decided that a small portion of each paycheck would go into my perkstreet account specifically for buying myself rewards after I pay off a credit card! Already, I am more excited about hitting each milestone.

Give Me Back My Five Bucks : The 2011 Lunch Challenge

I try to bring lunch every day, but I get so bored with it. I really like having hot foods, and I hate wasting food. . . So, buying sandwich meats usually ends up with me frustrated at throwing them out. I should try to come up with some good batch meals that I can prepare and freeze, but I haven't come up with anything good yet. . .

Well-Heeled, With a Mission : Food Budget Inflation Rampant: Time to Wave the White Flag or Double Down and Try Harder?

Cook more! I hated cooking at home as well, but A & I now cook at home 5 or 6 nights a week. The thing that made it easier for me was sitting down every Sunday and planning what we would have for dinner. Then we go grocery shopping for everything we'll need for the week. We've been pretty successful with this plan, and it takes the stress out of even deciding where to eat on any given night.

I've barely even started my debt journey, but I'm feeling fatigued already!
Fabulously Broke in the City : Working Hard or Hardly Working? Statistics about Workplace Productivity

I work at a call center, and I got docked on a quality monitoring call for having a website open in the background. We are allowed to browse websites in between calls, and instead of minimizing the screen, I left the browser open and brought the work program to the front. I think that these numbers are interesting but wonder like many others how truly relevant they are. . . If the work is getting done, and there's nothing else to do, does it matter?

Well-Heeled, With a Mission : There's a New Car Waiting For Me (If I Just Stop Being So Stubborn)

Concur, keep the Honda. And try to save up for the new one. . . Maybe you can pay for it in cash when you need it. . . That would be a real ego boost. :)

Give Me Back My Five Bucks : My mutual fund problem with TD Canada Trust

While it's really frustrating that the bank wouldn't let you move your money where you wanted, it sounds like something they're doing to meet regulations. I would go in to a branch and discuss it with a live representative. Just like everyone above has suggested. ;) In the process, a real person might have some good information to help you decide about your mutual funds, and your meeting will give you a true feeling of whether you're comfortable leaving your money with this institution.
