Only thing now is every time I'm sitting still on dry land, it still feels like it's gently rocking :) I wonder when that will stop?!

Elevate Gathering : July 21, 2009 - Love Part 2

So true Erik. I laugh every time I hear it, but some friends of mine call it "navel gazing" - the idea of the church always looking inward. I hope we take the opportunity as individuals and as a group to step up and show love to everyone we run across. PS: Enjoyed hearing you play guitar last night - looking forward to more!

Elevate Gathering : Current Series: Who?

I guess in the past, I never really took much time to actually stop and think about who I was created to be. Of course we all have dreams and aspirations, but I never really put God into that equation. I was looking at "created" references tonight and ran across this one: Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God created humankind upright, but they have gone in search of many schemes. It really made me stop and realize, that yes, I was created upright - whole - for good things, but over the course of life so far I've gone after "schemes". Not necessarily bad things, but things that made me lose sight of who I was actually created to be. A lot of the time I still wonder about it. I have dreams inside me that seem impossible, but in my heart I know it was what I was created for. "All things are possible.." right? Guess I'll just have to wait and see how it goes :) Looking forward to the rest of the series, Chris!
