It didn't work, it was giving me errors too. I finally tried to upgrade to 5.1.1 stiching the shsh to a regular restore 5.1.1 ipsw, it did take that. But in the middle of the restore it gave me an error and the phone ended up in a itunes restore loop I couldn't get out of it. the data was damaged i think. I have an iphone 4. running 4.2.1 bb: 03.10.01 I'm trying to update to 5.1.1; Cydia saved my shsh files, and I saved them locally with tinyumbrella. I created a custome 5.1.1b firmware with pwnagetool. I put the phone in recovery mode, start the tinyumbrella server to sign off the update, but the restore , through itunes, always fails (on im getting error 11 mostly). Any chance I can update to 5.1.1? Should I use a different ipsw? I also tried a NO BB ipsw done with redsnow. Any help would be appreciated. ps, the phone is not unlocked. I would like it to be if possible, but I'm more needing to upgrade to a jailbroken version. THanks a lot.
