Aw bull shit. Teenage boys playing video games is a hypnotic mind-rotting endeavor and total waste of time. Absolutely no WORK SKILLS will ever be obtained from video games.

I am an OLD daddy of 6 boys, so you cannot blow smoke up my butt on this subject.

I agree whole-heartedly that everybody should have a lawyer. However, so many- if not MOST- people are involved with CPS due to their poverty.

It would be GREAT if there was a pool of Pro Bono lawyers specializing in Family Law.

Since the ex is in it to her neck and they haven't come after you, they might not. Especially if the complaint was about HER neglect. The man is always run off from his home and family, so if you were already out like in a shared custody thing, there may be no reason for them to come after you.

Make the house spiffy clean. Cupboards and refrigerator full of groceries. Put new childproof deadbolts on the doors. If you let them in, expect a WHITE GLOVE inspection. I personally would demand they get a Search Warrant.

Judge Harmon made that ruling against the parents after the parents sued a Texas school district. Their son had been questioned at school without their knowledge, and strip searched by a female Texas Children's Protective Services worker looking for signs of paddling the boy's parents had allegedly administered. -Wall St. Journal 10/8/96-
