How's he going to save the day? he is going to claim that he is the only one who can fix the problem and that he should remain President until things get fixed. I may not put a sign up. But from the time I heard Rush talk about this event on wednesday night, I have decided that I am permantly boycotting ABC and ESPN. ABC is easy, I never watch it, ESPN, on the other hand, well ... there are always other sources of information. I don't even go to ESPN.com anymore.
All of us who know the truth realize that the train wreck happened November 4th. As a reult of that wreck, we are watching events through our minds eye. this is the one eye that slows events down so we can analyze things frame by frame. Liberals, on the other hand, haven't been on this train yet. There is no denying that the day is quickly approaching in which many of them punch their boarding pass for the Obama Express. Unfortunately, it won't be in time. it is going to take the VAT, Cap and trade, and inflation to see they were obviously wrong. They will have to admit they were wrong, because Obama failed miserably to fix the economy with his policies. For others it will take the death of a loved one at the hands of a government bureaucrat administering socialized medicine. It goes w/o saying that the hard core nuts on the left will still blame Bush policies on the economy, the war in Iraq, and the waterboarding of terrorists.

Remember the reform party? look at the insane mess that has become. Every kook and his sister try running for president under that banner and it has fragmented into a dozen different factions. What started as a good idea has become totally obscene and a laughing stock to boot. maybe I was a little off base--- ok, way off base about looking at voting records, but the point remains, we need to fix the GOP. John McCain is up for re-election in 2010. He is the perfect hostage to shoot. We need to find a Conservative in Arizona to run against him. We need to support this candidate through the primary and general elections. What would it tell everyone in this country if a former presidential nominee was beaten the the primary election? It wold sent a powerful message.
Ladies and Gentlemen, starting a third party is not the answer, for now. I believe we need to send a wake up call to the GOP first. We pick one of the most prominent GOP members of the senate who is up for re-election in 2010.
and throw him /her out. we do this by finding someone to run against the incumbent in the primary, and help finance his / her campaign. It doesn't matter about the incumbents voting record, sometimes you have to shoot a hostage in order to get your point across.
Personally, I believe Powell is working for Obama and the libs . I think this is an attempt to further isolate the conservative wing of the GOP. they want to make us look as extreme as possible in order to scare away moderate democrats and keep them voting the party line. The overall affect of these actions will minimize how many seats the Dems will lose in the midterm elections. If I am right, we are in seriously deeper trouble. Bend over and grab your ankles.
