I dont think Zymogene was referring to hard working self-employed people like you Don. You and others like you are the backbone of the American way of life and should be rewarded praised and thanked. I believe he was talking more about the trust-fund brigade who live off of mommy and daddy's money that they and their creative accountants have invested and stashed in tax sheltered accounts.
I agree with you if the gov't was trying to tax me for 43% of my income I would do everything I could legally to avoid it. You are dead on, the fact that 42% of Americans do not pay taxes while they use the most of our gov't programs is appalling. I feel that a national sales tax is the way to go.
Let me conclude with, there is no class envy in my statements and i dont think in either of the preceding statements. Thank you for your contributions to the economy and the jobs Im sure you create.
Blind obediance is the key to this administration's success. The masses have followed every direction their massiah has given them with out question and now they will accept this nomination just like they did with all the other apinties that Barry has made, with out looking at the end results.
I was just at a confrence for my job and the keynote speaker was talking about the health care reforme being forced on us as the greatest thing since sliced bread but she kept talking about the cost of such an overhaul and never even hinted at where that money was going to come from. Its like every one belives that this money will magically apear and be worth something. it crazy
I have been contemplating that too. But if that is the course we take we must all remember that true civil disobediance requires that we take the punishment for any action we take.

Its all padded books with taxpayer's money! When those loans come due it will just be this crisis all over again. Once our taxes go through the roof we'll see just how stable the economy is.

its just like every two weeks he has to have a primetime address to the nation to studder and ummm his way through the same crap that he said the last time, though even that time it wasnt anything of substance. He needs this attention he craves it. That is why he does this stuff he is a child screaming 'Look at me! Look at me!' because of some inferiority complex. The man is an egotist in the extream!
I agree whole heartedly I cringe everytime i watch the news and see us slipping closer and closer to a totalitarian socialist state! Is anyone going to stop this before it is too late we are just 100 days in and we have over 500 till the next elections of any importance. Are we going to be too far gone to do anything about this cause right now it seems that we are jsut chugging along as fast as we can with no regard to the long term consiquences to this reckless spending and development of a welfare state.
