I love that HGTV hired you Brian, a Floridian, to design a home in your stomping grounds and you chose to resist the urge for the typical and embrace what the land/area spoke to you. One of my favorite elements is how the home very elegantly blends with and opens to the peaceful outdoors.

I've never been one for mixing hardware finishes nor for brassy finishes but I actually like this. You had me at "Champagne"! :-) I've not seen this new Champagne bronze in person yet but it's lovely.

FAVORITE ROOM: Kitchen
WHY? E V E R Y T H I N G
A great family kitchen really IS the heart of the home. It's where countless good times are shared, where important conversations often take place and simply is the hub of the home.
This kitchen MORE than allows for a huge number of friends and family to laugh, eat, drink and love. From the 16' long granite island, the antique boat wood the mosaic tile backsplash, the bright yellow hue of the leather upholstery in the OPEN concept kitchen, the sliding glass door which opens to an amazing outdoor space, the automatic stainless steel coffee machine, the stainless steel wine chiller to the bamboo floors.
WHAT DID THEY NOT THINK OF???
Can you tell....I LOVE IT!!! Great job HGTV Dream Home crew!!!!

Wow! Um if I'm going to run into a bear I would hope to be on a pair of skis. We are having the same issue with the snow here in Oregon. As cold as it's been you wouldn't think this would be an issue.

Thanks Liz. It would seem others are having the same questions I am. Comforting :) I DO miss the "remember me" function. I'm a little lazy that way but whatever it takes... short of my first born.

Kapow what does the Fox say..."Gering ding ding ding". I must say this is my F-A-V house yet. Fantastic. Man these guys are the rockstars of lumber, color, design, nails and such. Great job!
