Well, she's small but seems to like using her hands. Probably not a woodwind or brass instrument, since they can be kind of big for her, and she might not have the, uh...lung? Air capacity to really show what they can do. Also, it'd be nice if she left her mouth free to do vocals, because who couldn't use more Peridot vocals?
So, a small lyre, or lyra, something like that. But I think the best fit for her would be something more electronic, like a vocoder.

Peridot could be, if she could figure out what to do with the chewed-up food mush, assuming she can taste it. She seems like she'd be interested in learning about that aspect of Earth life. And eating several examples of Earth life.

Lapis might try it, but have no strong reaction one way or another. Unless she can share some food with good company, but even then, it's mostly about the company.

Food is just a cheap tactic by weak lifeforms to not starve, says Jasper.

Side note: I believe it won't be Steven who converts Blue Diamond to Earth's side, nor the memory of Pink Diamond. It'll be the food. She'll give Steven a chance to make a case for keeping Earth around, but will be on the fence about it. Right up until she tries fry-bits, nachos and chocolate donuts. After that, she'll fight White Diamond herself to protect Earth.
