I was really impressed. Not knowing what to expect, I wanted to watch to get a little information and get to know her a little. WOW!!! I don't think McCain could have chosen a better running mate. I really like how she went after the dems, not being timid or uncomfortable. I think the libs are running scared now, not knowing what to do about this woman that is going to eat them up. :-)

Yeah, well it is a election year. The problem is, the libs have to make everything sound so much worse than they are, so a democrat can get elected. Then, after they are elected they can say "see, the democrat made the economy better". It is all BS. There is no proof of a recession. There have to be 2 quarters of economic downturn for it to be a recession. We have not even had one yet.

Obama is clueless. How he thought that none of this stuff about him would come out is beyond me. And what is even worse, is how much of the country is eating it up. I can understand the black community supporting him no matter what he is. After all, the OJ trial taught us that guilt means nothing if you have a chance to stick it to the "man". What really disturbs me is the guilt laden whites turning a blind eye just so they can make them feel better about themselves. But then again, that is what white liberal elites do. As long as they feel good about themselves, it doesn't matter who or what they destroy along the way.

Ughhh, we are sometimes our worst enemy. With all the concern over the defecit and taxes, what could possibly be wrong with ending earmarks, not just for a year but indefinately. McCain has never had earmarks, and I think he may just embarass the GOP into ending them, at leas temporarily. One can only hope.

OH RW I sure hope you are right. I just have this idea that people are so dumb these days they will believe anything a politician says. Look at Mayor Barry. Obama would be a disaster for this country. From his Marxist ambitions, to his relationships with suspicious muslim organizations and people. Not that a president can do much damage by himself, but with Pelosi and her ilk in charge of the House and Senate, it could get ugly. But as time goes on, he keeps burying himself. Now if those center left people will wake up, McCain has a shot.

Man, where do you start? The more we get to know this guy, the worse it gets. And yet, the Dumocrats turn a blind eye to it. What I find hard to believe is that reasonable centrists Democrats won't cross party lines to vote for a true American. That is a good perspective. What I would really like to see is a comparison of military deaths on a daily basis in non combat situations and deaths in Iraq. It is my contention that there are more deaths per year in non combat situations as there are in Iraq. I believe that would make the complaints by the Dems seem a little silly.

I'm right behind you on page 213. It is a very good read. I never learned some of this stuff in school, and that was before political correctness and blame America for everything. I already have 2 family members that want to read it when I am done. One is my nephew who is only 22 years old. Makes me proud when young people can think for themselves. Oh brother!!! It is painfully obvious that most liberals don't even understand what a liberal is, let alone what a conservative is. I'm pretty sure I would have had to laugh in the face of this person. I am currently reading "Liberal Facism-The secret history of the American left from Mussolini to the Politics of Meaning" by Jonah Goldberg. This should be required reading for all high school students and especially for liberals. The course that the liberal Democrats are taking is so close to Facism and Nazism, it is scary. Real scary.

Well, I think this would be a great idea. I was a Romney supporter to begin with, and I believe it will help bring in some of the discouraged conservatives that are not all that happy with some of McCains liberal bents. It is going to be an intersting year, what with all the turmoil on the Democratic side and conservatives with a bent nose on the Republican side. But, I believe it is our duty to vote and protect our country from those that would ruin it. That is why I will vote Republican regardless of my distaste of some of McCains liberal ways.
