If you are "more likely" to leave the job you cant be expected to make the same........
yes you need the time off...... I know men cant have babies.....
Your also less likely to come back to the job, need to be the primary caregiver etc......
Hence the lower pay
How do you know most men wouldn't stay home?

And the man doesn't help raise the family?

Unfortunately, statistics prove that a woman is 84% more likely to leave the workforce to bear children and raise a family.
Also, family courts favor women in divorce proceedings.
Most women can extract wealth via alimony etc......
