elephant journal: Yoga, Sustainability, Politics, Spirituality. : Sakyong + Sakyong Wangmo Baby Countdown. Video.

Yes there is, but king, queen mean something different within the Shambhala context.... I don't recall Trungpa Rinpoche or Diana Mukpo being publicly (outside of Shambhala context) being publicly referred to as Buddhist King and Queen. I have to agree with the other sentiments here... it's rather a turn off.

elephant journal: Yoga, Sustainability, Politics, Spirituality. : Get Back on the Rag. ~ Beth Bartel

"change the water daily if you’re not going to wash right away. I dump mine down the toilet " Okay one major suggestion here: did you know that blood is an excellent fertilizer for plants? Dumping down the toilet is a waste - mine goes outside and waters my garden, trees, bushes; the used blood water can be offered to any plants outside. Our waste is someone else's food. Now the next thing we need to all do is start using composting toilets. It's crazy that we use tons of clean water to flush away potentially awesome fertilizer.

old socks are good too, you know, after you've worn them out as socks/got some holes in the toes or heels. I use smaller sock on the inside of the glad rag - fold over and put inside the glad rags; I keep the smaller glad rag pad for the lighter days.

The other obvious difference here is the male model is fat - actually he looks clinically obese to me, while the women are, per usual, model thin, and those look like fake boobs to me. Not to be "anti-large", but I'm just noticing this obvious discrepancy - the women are underweight (and surgically altered?) while the one and only example of male naked sushi an is overweight guy. Disappointing. If you are wanting to appeal to the female half of your audience, you might want to be more equal-opportunity mindful. (and yes, we enjoy the eye candy, so cough it up, Lewis).
