This is an AP poll so it's very suspect, but still, it's amazing that his guy gets the support he does.
Doesn't it seem that Obama feels more comfortable in the company of leftist dictators than traditional American allies like Britain? Sure, it was only a hand shake, but to improve relations with countries like Cuba and Venezuela a level of giving has to happen. The way Obama has acted on these foreign trips, it seems he's more than happy to be the one giving. There is no question that down deep Obama sympathizes with the likes of the Castro brothers and Chavez. You can't belong to Rev. Wright's church for 20 years and not feel some level of solidarity with these regimes. Slowly but surely the country is awakening to this.
Does anyone really believe that the United States will be a stronger more prosperous nation after this Obama nothing is done being President?
The American media has created a figure based on a strange combination of Marvel Comics and American Idol. But this creation has become the President of the United States. Nobody will say it, but inside the United States, his election is prompting an acceleration to a culture war. The tea parties are more about the attack on Americana than tax hikes. An example is the conflict brewing at Notre Dame over an invitation of the President to speak at the university. Putting the huge crowds and great speeches read from a teleprompter aside, Barack Obama is becoming the greatest polarizing figure in American history.
Obama was to be the post-partisan guy. He was to be the man of change and hope and reconciliation. Obama has been president for two months and the country is more divided than before. Look at what is happening to the Notre Dame community. They're divided over a commencement address. All caused by a president that said before his election that he was going to heal the country. What a JOKE!
For anyone else it would be a very dumb and insensitive remark. But the Obama nuts posting here compound it by defending him at any cost. Would anyone be surprised if Bush made the comment? Would the Obama nuts let him have it at every opportunity? But this comment came from the "one." It came from the man of hope and change. It came from the smartest man in the room. It came from Mr. Bipartisan. It came from the guy that is silky smooth and educated and articulate and energetic and the savior of the planet. What a sick joke!
