Misti RN, I have often thought that microchipping a child would be a sensible idea, especially for kids at high risk of abduction. My dogs are microchipped with a chip that is roughly the size of a grain of rice that is injected just under the skin. It seemed to be alot less painful than what that poor little boy has probably already been subjected to. If Kyron was microchipped with some sort of G.P.S. device, the police could have found him a week ago. I am the custodial grandmother of a child who is at high risk for abduction by her mom, dad or her other grandmother (her kids were raised in foster care for the majority of their childhoods). A court official warned me that she eventually will be stalked . A tiny G.P.S. device would give me a bit of peace of mind, when she's away from home. She will be entering kindergarten this coming fall and I am nervous. I am praying that Kyron returns home very soon. God please bless him and keep him safe.
