I have often thought that God might give those who die a final opportunity to trust Him before they are assigned their eternal home in heaven or in perdition. But It is possible in this life to KNOW God and to know what He declares as true. It is also possible to know what God declares are lies from satan. I could be wrong about Who and what I believe. But I'm not! I believe it because God said it is so! If you study the Bible you will understand that Jesus not only teaches truth He IS TRUTH! When He says NO ONE comes to the Father except by Him, I believe it is so, and for that reason I follow Him. If you think Mormons are following Him, or Catholics, OK. But you might ASK THEM! I don't think they are. If they were, Jesus would make sure they knew what He teaches is true and that what lies are taught by men which they should to avoid. We cannot escape making judgments on everything from when to cross a busy street, to which college to enroll our children in to what we believe about God and His Bible. The Islamic war aimed against the every nation is having two effects on the people. One is to cause them to capitulate and not oppose Muslim Jihadists. But a second and more sinister result is in play. Those who do not wish their freedoms to be taken from them are banding together against Islam, and it seems there are some very strange bedfellows as a result! Or is the Islamic threat simply accelerating the religious ecumenism that has been underway for years. Will the synergistic New World Religion actually be advanced more quickly now as "free peoples" seek to stay "free?" The Vatican actually embraces Islam, and the last Pope John kissed the Koran and gave an audience Yassar Arafat. People are saying Billy Graham, Joel Osteen, Robert Schulyer and other prominent christian leaders are going soft doctrinally toward Islam. There has been movement back toward Rome by the church of England and even by the Eastern Church. What do these things mean for born again christians? Not to be left out of the "equation" is Christian eschatology which posits a "peace" treaty between the anti-Christ and the Jewish nation. I fear many christians are untaught and unaware of this certain future event! And so a great many believers are unable to process what is happening and what is coming. WE ARE SHOCKED AND ALARMED THAT ISLAMIST JIHADISTS ARE KILLING CHRISTIANS (OF WHICH MORMONS CANNOT BE NUMBERED). Why so many so called christians today are running scared from Islam, or to Islam is simply the result of their not knowing the plan of God. I do not know the Plan of God as well as some, but I know it better than others. I believe Jesus is Lord, I trust the Bible to reveal His love and His plan for humanity. I believe the Holy Spirit is sent to us from heaven to teach us the gospel and the entire Bible, as much as we are wiling to be taught it by Him (the Holy Spirit). I'm not alone. The answers to life, and to the perplexities of this time we live in will not be solved by human coalitions seeking to secure freedoms, caliphates or a New World Order. In a few short years many of us will no longer be alive on earth. In 100 years almost everyone alive today will be dead. And where will their souls then be?
