Congress doesn't target and deal with the problems. They come up with ways to satisfy as many of the special interest as possible. That's why we have to vote them all out. What we replace them with is the question mark. Your points, make a lot of sense. That is where you would think congress would be targeting. Think is the key word.

The main point that 'The 5000 Year Leap' makes, is that your rights come from your creator, not your government. This way, government can not take these away. If you choose not to believe in a creator, then your rights are still protected from the government from changing or doing away with your rights.

I'm going to do some more reading on Cicero and William Blackstone. 'The 5000 Year Leap' is a must read.

I would agree, McCain didn't provide much entertainment during the debates. Newt would tear up BO. The Teleprompter wouldn't be able to help him.

In Kentucky's primary, Alan Keye's was on the ballot, so I voted for him. I wasn't too impressed with the Republicans choice of candidates running for president. They all had things about them, I didn't quite like. I was leaning towards Romney, but with our primary being so late, the choice was made for me.
