YESSSS. I have started EVERY morning for the past few weeks blasting this. And each day I am more impatient for it to be an mp3 I can get on iTunes so I can also blast it in my car.

I don't remember them being concentrated around Homecoming, nor any impact on marching band (not that I was the most serious of band members...I was more serious about, uh, flirting with the drum line). But if you went to HS in northwestern PA, maybe it was the same one!

Additional fun details:

I do not remember feeling remotely threatened or afraid, even the first time it happened. So take THAT, I guess? The only direct negative impact it had on my life was that I lost my favorite pencil during one of the evacuations.

Since most of the threats came in the form of threats written inside bathroom stalls, bathroom monitors were stationed in the bathrooms at all times and would check inside the stalls after each use.

One time someone wrote "There is a broom in the school," and we still had to evacuate.

The underclassmen ended up all having an extra week or two of school in the summer to make up for time off. Seniors didn't because they didn't want to move graduation.

Oh gosh, my senior year of high school (12 years ago), we had, I think, nearly 30 (false) bomb threats? Set a new record. By the last one, they had actually abandoned the original protocol (everyone goes to the "lower parking lot" for like 3 hours), and we would just stand about 15 feet from the building for about 20 minutes and then go back inside.

We got a resident bomb-sniffing dog out of it at least, though.

I have been wondering/hoping! And if it is not to find a new online home, I really hope we get some ridiculous closure (everyone dies from tainted botox? flash forward to the future where they're all living in the same retirement home?).

IMPORTANT: Grill pineapple slices and put vanilla ice cream on top.

SO MUCH LIGHT, PLEASE. Natural when possible, whiteish bulbs when it's not. I've got the south-facing windows in my studio set up with thin white roman blinds so that I can keep a ton of light pouring in while also preventing glare/weird shadows on my drawing table.

I grew up in a house with brown carpets, brown walls, dark furniture, thick curtains, and a dad whose default setting is "dimmer lights on low." It was awful and I have successfully escaped it. (Parents have since painted the walls the oddest shade of peachy orange and got new curtains, but they have not helped all that much.)

19 I am certainly not! I've actually recently begun playing around with my skincare routine as well -- investing in higher quality products and trying different ones. Although for moisturizer, I found one that works better than what I was using and costs way less. So HOORAY for that!

Getting a better foundation is definitely up there on my list, though.
