GeekTyrant : RANTING TIME: What did You Think of TERMINATOR SALVATION

I loved the movie. They could have left out Michael Ironside completely and Sam Worthington's Marcus Wright character wanted to develop more and was one of the best parts of the movie. The Arnold Terminator wasn't obsolete; it was brand new based on the cybernetic success of Marcus Wright. I would love it if someone would do a T4 Mod for Fallout3. I really think that another 30 minutes of movie could have tied things together better. Obviously Skynet was at a vulnerable point in which the resistance had formed and Skynet had not yet perfected the alloy and power sources used on the more advanced terminators.

GeekTyrant : Terminator 4 Vs. Transformers 2: Battle of the Directors

I saw both movies and I liked them both. Both had good plots, but I walked away from T4 feeling like I had been moved and I wanted to see it again right away. The Marcus Character was brilliant and I think killing him off was a bad idea. Transformers 2 was very good but a little predictable.

GeekTyrant : McG Talks about his Crazy Idea for TERMINATOR 5

What a ridiculous idea! Why wouldn't Skynet just send its self back in time to around 800 BC? Paradox? Don't give me that. It depends on which time travel theory you believe in; time is changed and flows along the new future sending waves of change through space-time, or time splits and you are now following the new branch that you created. I think we need to drive on into the future and get to the point where Skynet sends the first Terminator back. I was disappointed that they killed off Marcus Wright in T4. Another problem I had was with the spur of the moment heart transplant with no regard for tissue type, but I'm willing to concede that there may have been technology that allowed that to happen. It would be nice to see a group of robots advance far enough into their IA to rebel against Skynet at some point. Don't due time travel again unless you have some kind of revelation that will raise the hair on the back of our necks!
