Kristin Dziadul : Seven Ways to Be Productive While Working From Home

Awesome advice, Andrew! I also like to mix up my environment where I work to keep my mind fresh. It is hard to have a room completely set aside for work, especially in a city like Boston, but I try to designate different tasks to different places where I can work. This keeps me focused. Perhaps similar to RescueTime, I use FocusBooster, an app that sets a time limit for tasks you\\\'re doing to keep you focused and undistracted.

Kristin Dziadul : 5 Features You Need in an Ideal Marketing Metrics Tool

Howard, I am not the hugest believer in having a lot of competitor tracking tools -- I find it best to focus on what YOU do best and kill it at that. But I do keep an eye on competitors in a few ways: Set up Google Alerts, add them to a private list on Twitter and subscribe to their blog. It\\\'s a bit hands on but I really believe that if you\\\'ve created something unique, it is better for you to just focus on that and not worry about where others are every day. Do you use any competitor tracking tools?

Kristin Dziadul : Understanding your peak performance hours (and it's not 2pm)

Awesome points, Joe! Especially being a freelancer, I have to understand my best working hours and stay motivated throughout the day. My best productivity time seems to change a bit day to day (depending on what is going on that day) but seems to be between 8-10am or 9pm-sleep. I can certainly crank out work at any time during the day, but not AS much as during those hours.

Kristin Dziadul : Startup Inspirations: Quality vs. Speed

Kat - definitely see where you\\\'re coming from here and it happens to everyone. It\\\'s hard not to focus on details and want perfection. But in some environments, especially a fast-paced startup environment, sometimes getting something out faster with less quality is more important. Other projects, such as a board deck, for example, must be done meticulously.

Dharmesh - you beat me to it! I was going to tweet this to you this am. One of my inspirations to do this video was actually from reading yours and the other comments on my prior videos and wanting to give a fresh update of myself, what's happening with Backupify and the awesome Boston culture. Thanks again so much for your support and following, it's much appreciated.

Kristin Dziadul : "How Do I Get Involved in a Startup Company?"

Yeah you guys have been doing an awesome job! It seems that at least in the startup culture, sites like Monster.com and CareerBuilder.com are dead and recommendations, personal brands and even Twitter are the way to go to find candidates and jobs. Boston in general is a great community as everyone is so willing to helps others and we're all about networking. Thanks for the comment!

Kristin Dziadul : 10 Phrases You Should NOT Use to Describe Your Company

Julie - thanks for adding onto my list! Quality is definitely another great one to discuss. I agree, I hear this word tossed around in product descriptions, brand slogans, advertising, etc. Yet when you think of the definition of quality, do many of these offerings really fit that description? Probably not. Thanks for reading! Kristin

Kristin Dziadul : What to Expect When Working for a Start-up Company

Glad you enjoyed my post! I was 5 months out of college spending time exploring what I truly liked doing. I found this company and they happened to be looking for a person to do exactly what I found I loved. I liked the industry sector they were in, the location (Boston) and the opportunity to learn and help others learn. I knew this would be a great place for me to begin my career - in a small team where I can learn a lot, help with meaningful and important projects and grow fast. I knew I probably would not get this experience at a huge company where you sit in your cubicle separated off from everyone else.

Kristin Dziadul : 10 Phrases You Should NOT Use to Describe Your Company

Thanks for the insight, Zach. It's good to know that the word is not as overused and over hyped everywhere - maybe just places like Boston and Silicon Valley. In some cases it can be a good word to use, others it just turns into a blurry phrase that doesn't mean much when it's thrown in with other 'entrepreneurial' words.
