Actually K-9's are considrered the same as a Police Officer, and to assault one is the same as assaulting a human police officer.

The perp got exactly what he deserved.

All of you that think it was okay for him to choke the dog (self defense) are so very wrong. The dog was dispatched to stop and hold/restrain the perp until an officer arrived to cuff him.

That is what he did, by the means he had available (his teeth); that is his job. So go whine somewhere else, the perp got exactly what he deserved. Also if he was trying to choke the dog, then who is the one that had cause fo self defense (the K-9)!!!!!!!

I am so glad he was not successful in choking this very brave animal.

Some airlines will not let you bring an animal into the cabin, no matter how young or small it is. Plus, they might not have told her she could do this; many times if you don't ask they don't tell.

If she knew this, then she is equally at fault for subjecting a small kitten especially hairless one to this invironment.

Given the choice, I would also pay to have my animal with me.

Couldn't agree more with China Doll, this is an insult. The death was caused by a malfunction with the plane!!!!! This kitten was lost because of this, but they just want to reimburse her as if it was just another piece of cargo. This was her pet, not just a piece of her luggage. Delta DO THE RIGHT THING!!!!!

I can never understand why they cannot sing our National Anthem the way it was written, which is very beautiful. Plus flubbing a line in such an important song, for someone that has as much experience as she does, this should never happen.

Plus after the absolutely beautiful rendion of "American the Beautiful" by the young lady from Glee, this was doubly insulting.

So you KNOW this for a fact, might want to make sure before mouthing off. What this man is doing is incredible, and even if he is drawing a pension he isn't the only one; there are people in other industries that get a pension and then keep working.
